Open All-Day School

Our OGS offers two care models for the different needs of families: short care with free play, or extended care with lunch, homework support, and an afternoon programme.

Option 1

Care Until 1:15 PM

Reliable care straight after lessons with free play – without lunch.

Option 2

Extended Care

Monday to Thursday until 4:00 PM, Friday until 3:00 PM – including warm lunch, homework support on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and a varied afternoon programme.

Fixed Pick-Up Times & Care Agreement

In the care agreement, you set out the fixed days and times for picking up your child. Once the timetable is confirmed, you will get another opportunity at the start of the school year to adjust the pick-up times accordingly, using a separate change form.

Weekly changing pick-up times are not possible. Consistent routines give younger children in particular a sense of orientation and security. For children just starting school, we are of course flexible about changes in the first few weeks.

Should the pick-up times need to change at short notice, for example because of a doctor's appointment, you can let us know conveniently via the ISY app.

After School

After school ends, the shared care time begins. Depending on the care model chosen, children join the warm lunch in our canteen or use the time for free play. After lunch, all children come back together.

On Tuesdays and Thursdays, homework support takes place from 1:15 PM. Children are supported by our care staff and teachers.

The Afternoon

After lunch and homework time, the free part of the afternoon begins: in good weather on the spacious outdoor grounds with a playground and lawn, in bad weather in lovingly furnished rooms with craft and play options, reading corners, and quiet spaces.

Our Clubs (AGs)

For children in Option 2, we offer an extensive range of clubs, from sport and art to creative activities, household skills, or textile crafts. Participation is voluntary but, once chosen, binding for a set period. Registration takes place directly with us at the OGS.

Our clubs only start after the autumn break. This gives our new students enough time to settle into school and the OGS routine at their own pace.

In the first few weeks, various spontaneous and varied activities take place instead, where children can discover their interests and spend time together. You will receive the current club schedule shortly before the autumn break. After the autumn break, you can register your child for one or more clubs and adjust the corresponding pick-up times again if needed. (More information on the process is available via the ISY app.)

Club schedule: The club schedule will be published shortly before the autumn break and will then be available under Downloads & Forms.
